Pizza Time!

It's Pizza Month!

It’s National Pizza Month!

We don’t need a reason to celebrate pizza. It’s easy, it’s comfort food, and everyone likes it.

One of our favorite things is making custom pizza for dinner. I find it a great way to use leftovers; my kids love rolling the dough and making crazy concoctions. We went so far as to make a brick pizza oven in the backyard using things we mostly had on hand. It worked well for the wood-fired crust, but it took quite some time to get things heated. Here’s the tutorial if you want an easy weekend project.

If you want to make a big meal, we’ve got some excellent ideas for sides, salads, and appetizers that are the perfect pizza partner.

Once you make the pizza, you need the best way to store it. We tried so many methods and found the best after many pieces stuck together. Check it out.

Here’s what’s cooking this week.

WEDNESDAY

Sausage and Pepper Heros

THURSDAY

Chicken with Scallion Sauce over Ramen Noodles

FRIDAY

Eggplant Rollatini, Italian Salad

SATURDAY

Roast Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Salad

SUNDAY

GERMAN FOOD!

That’s all for now. As always, connect with me on Facebook or Pinterest or reply to this email; I'd love to hear from you.

See you next week!
